Microsoft's open source project hosting website - CodePlex - has
had a Metro UI-inspired transformation.
CodePlex describes itself as a site that you can use to "create
new projects to share with the world, join others who have already
started their own projects, or download open source software", and
already hosts over 20,000 projects, 6 years since its launch in
June 2006.
This is how the home page looked before the update:

And here's the new CodePlex in full Metro glory:

The minimal backgrounds, large fonts and big tiles have
certainly given the somewhat dated-looking site a new lease of
life. The improvements aren't just skin-deep however. Creating a
new project, for instance, is now simply a single-step process, and
more is promised to come.
